2.1 Screen Layout. Screen Shot.
  1. The screen is divided into three areas namely, Masthead and Top Toolbar, Left Toolbar and Display Area.
  2. The Top Toolbar contains the search area and buttons to links of commonly used pages. This toolbar remains unchanged and appears on all pages at all times.
  3. The Left Toolbar contains the Login Area and useful links. The content of this area changes depending on the state of the current session.
  4. The Main Display Area is the central area where the content of the website is displayed and all transactions are conducted. This is a dynamic area that you will access at all times.
2.2 Browse catalogue.
  1. All visitors can browse the catalogue by following the link provided in the top toolbar.
  2. The catalogue has been divided into two broad categories – Stationery and Packaging.
    1. Each of these is further divided into Polymer or Polypaper.
    2. Items in each sub-category are listed under the heading.
    3. Clicking on any of the items will display the list of item sizes/types available in that category. This action requires that the user be logged on at that time.
    4. Unregistered users will not be able to continue beyond this point. However, Sample screens of customisation available with each item are provided here. Screen Shot.
2.3 Search for items.
  1. Two levels of search are possible using the facility provided, namely, Basic search, and, Advanced search.
  2. Selection of any of the items listed after the search will display the details of the item in the format provided.
  1. Basic Search:
    1. The search are is located in the top left area of the main toolbar.
    2. Basic search area is displayed in all screens while advanced search area can be accessed by clicking on the "Advanced Search" link provided just below the basic search box.
    3. Valid entries in the search box are all items, materials and categories. Wild card characters like *, % etc are not permissible.
    4. A minimum of three characters are required for a successful search.
    5. Enter the search string in the search box provided and click the ‘GO’ button.
    6. Search results are displayed in the main display area. The organisation of the results is in a format similar to that of the cat. Screen Shot.
  2. Advanced Search:
    1. The Advanced Search Area can be accessed by clicking on the Advanced Search link provided just below the basic search box.
    2. The advanced search options are displayed in the main display area.
    3. The primary search criteria is the category. Select the category or leave it as it is and move to the next criteria.
    4. The secondary criteria is the material. Select the material or leave it as it is and move to the next criteria.
    5. Based on the selected category and material, the drop-down provided for items is populated. Changing either the category or material will result the contents of the items list to be automatically refreshed.
    6. However, the item list will not be displayed unless both category AND material have been selected.
    7. Selecting maximum criteria will narrow the search to a greater extent.
    8. Finally, Select the item and click the "GO" button. The results of the search are displayed in the main display area.

2.4 View Demo of Purchase process.
  1. The Demo of the search process is in the form of an attractive Flash animation.
  2. All the stages involved in the purchase process are displayed. Please allow the animation to load fully. Then sit back and enjoy.
  3. You can view the demo by clicking here or the “DEMO” button of the Top Toolbar.
2.5 Send Feedback.
  1. Feedback can be sent by both Registered Users as well as unregistered users and casual visitors.
  2. The Feedback form can be accessed by clicking on the button in the Top Toolbar.
  3. The form will be displayed in the main display area.
  4. If the user has not logged on, the following screen will be displayed. Screen Shot.
  5. Registered users are first required to enter their login details in the space provided.
  6. Then, they can enter their comments/feedback in the space provided and click the “submit” button.
  7. Feedback is received by the Administrator for further action.
  8. Unregistered users are first required to enter their email id in the space provided.
  9. Then, they can enter their comments/feedback in the space provided and click the “submit” button.
  10. Feedback is received by the Administrator and a response will be sent to the email address provided.
2.6 Registration.
  1. New members are required to register before using facilities restricted to registered users.
  2. Registration is a two stage process namely, (I) Data Submission, and, (ii) Data Vetting.
  3. Data Submission:
    1. The registration page is accessible by clicking on the link provided on the main page just below the Login area.
    2. The registration page is displayed in the main display area. Screen Shot.
    3. All items marked with a (*).
    4. If the office and shipping addresses are the same, enter the office address first and then click on the button provided to copy the address to the shipping address area. You can even now edit information in the shipping address area if so desired.
    5. The terms and conditions are displayed in the box at the bottom of the page. Selecting the “I Accept” radio button and clicking Register automatically implies the acceptance of all the terms without any reservations whatsoever.
    6. Clicking the “Register” button will send the information entered to the Administrator for further processing.
  4. Data Vetting:
    1. After the data has been submitted to the Administrator, the user has to authenticate the data by means of an authenticating letter from the authorised signatory of the company.
    2. This exercise is necessary to safeguard the interest of the company and is compulsory.
    3. The format of the Authenticating Letter can be downloaded by clicking on the link provided in the main display area.
    4. The required data in the format has to be entered and the duly filled in letter has to be submitted to Ethical on their registered address. A sample format is available here.
    5. Once the format is received by us, the data will be checked by us and if found acceptable, your account will be activated.
    6. Users with activated accounts will be able to access all portions of the site and enjoy the benefits to the fullest.
